The Home-Run Contest has the same basic rules as it's Melee version: Give Sandbag as much damage as you can within 10 seconds, then grab the Home-Run Bat, and smash him as far as possible.
There are a few helpful changes that have been made this time around. For one thing, a force field around the platform will prevent you from accidentally knocking Sandbag off of it before you're done pummeling him.
But the newset and most exciting feature, is that two players can attack him at the same time, whether they're sitting next to each other, or using Brawl's Wi-Fi capabilities. Players can take turns as well, competeing to achieve the greatest aerial distance.
This may look easy, but there is a lot of strategy that goes into it, especially with the timing when two people are playing. Look forward to that in the future, for this exciting mode.
